Beneath the Ice

The hunters receive a letter, sent express-post with the return address of an ice fishing camp on Black Oak Lake. On a torn shred of paper, in a messy scrawl, the note reads:

I'm writing to request your services. A friend said you could help. Your discretion is required. Please help me. I think something has gone wrong with me. It is not safe for me to be around other people. I am at fish shack 12. Please help.  Name your price. –JM

Set in an isolated location in the dead of winter, and playing with tropes of monster transformation, this hunt is designed with a 4-segment countdown clock. You get a double-sided pdf, laid out in trifold pamphlet format with original illustrations in black & white for even the shittiest of home printers. This is a hunt for jex thomas's Bump in the Dark, created for the Iron Country Autumn jam.
